We sell development boards on a number of platforms, the most popular being Faikout® boards.
However, we are pleased to announce we now sell on Lectronz. They are EU based (in Greece), and they are much better clued up than Tindie with regard to VAT and tariffs.
Note that, for now, Tindie sales are suspended as they are under new ownership and not paying sellers.
This means that, for US customers, we are now able to properly calculate the tariff (currently 10%) rather than having some approximate tariff based higher shipping costs. It means cheaper shipping than we could do before with pre-paid tariff, and no tariffs paid when your receive the goods.
This also means that, for EU customers, under €150, Lectronz work out the applicable EU VAT, and handle paying the EU VAT authorities for us. We then ship using Royal Mail with IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) which means customers should not have to pay fees to their courier. For orders over €150, business customer should also be able to provide their VAT number to allow postponed VAT in their country if they have that set up.
Other shipments will still typically have VAT/duty paid on delivery, sorry.
