All our broadband services include static IP addresses but you may have your own RIPE-allocated IPv4 or IPv6 allocations. We'll happily announce and route them to you or establish BGP sessions to you so you can run your own BGP routers and be multi-homed.
If you already have an IP allocation, either IPv4 or IPv6, then (as long as the service is stable) we're happy for these to be used on the broadband services we provide.
Depending on your circumstance, we can either:
Customer is multi-home and has BGP sessions with two (or more) ISPs:
Customer is single-homed and we announce the prefixes on their behalf and route to their broadband line:
You have a home lab and have your own IPv4 or IPv6 allocation. You connect to us via L2TP. We can announce the prefix for you and route it to you over the L2TP service.
Say you have an A&A FTTP service and an A&A L2TP service over a different ISP, we can announce your prefix and route it to on or the other and fail over to the other in the even of one of the services going down. (This feature is available even for IP blocks allocated by A&A, not just for PI Space)
You are multi-homed, having an internet connection with us and also one with another ISP. You want to announce your IPv4 or IPv6 allocation over both ISPs. We can set up BGP sessions to your routers to achieve this on the A&A side.
You may be a Amateur Radio user and have applied for a /24 allocation from 44Net and are after an ISP to help route it to you. We can do this.
We're happy to set up BGP sessions for both home users and businesses.
If you would like an IPv6 allocation and need us to sponsor and process the application then we can do this too. There are some costs involved to cover the RIPE fees and our time:
