We've been asked about offering faster than 1G speeds on BT-based services quite a few times recently, especially with Openreach talking about 3.3Gb/s services! We do offer 2.5Gb/s services on CityFibre, but only up to 1Gb/s with BT services.
However, at the moment BT Wholesale, who we buy services from, do not buy faster than 1Gb/s from Openreach, and therefore do not offer it to us.
It may be the case that sometime in Q1 or Q2 2026 BTW will start offering 1.2 and 1.8G services, but these are not promises.
